1. Introduce a hexagon or herringbone pattern as a feature tile to your kitchen or bathroom space.

Melissa says: “Adding a marble feature tile to your kitchen splashback creates a focal point to the space that is best described as the heart of the home”

2. Add elements of marble through décor and homeware pieces such as coasters, candles, chopping boards or trays.

Melissa says: “It’s a great way to focus on the smaller details with hints of marble and looks great when it is teamed up with glass, ceramic or timber accents.

3. With marble being such a porous material, it can cause headaches when trying to maintain it in the most used areas of the home such as the kitchen and bathroom. Caesarstone offer a great alternative with its range of marble-look benchtops, which still create that luxurious look, without the maintenance issues that can come with marble.

Tips from Melissa

“Remember not to go overboard with marble and be sure to mix it with other materials such a timber, copper or ceramic to get a more natural look.
